- "Growing Carnivorous Plants" by: Barry Rice
- "Cultivating Carnivorous Plants" by: Natch Greyes

My favorite CP genuses are sarracenia and nepenthes.
I also try to collect some of the other genuses to gain a variety of CPs.
I'll be updating this growlist every month or so.

Pre-Update! Tomorrow is the big update, I'll be posting some pics of my new ceph.
Added some hitchhikers, identified some drosera, and added a nep seedling (a hitchhiker from my spats).
I also added a CP library. I'm hoping to get Barry Rice's book next.

The Big Update Has Arrived!
Added some new Drosera (Capensis, Aliciae, and Natalensis), but most importantly... A Cephalotus!
Edited the Dionaea section and identified my "Nidiformis" as D. Affinis.
Also, I'm currently searching for a couple D. Nidiformis.
Pictures coming soon...

Willing to trade? I am interested in your 'Dente'. Essentially anything not marked as (R) on my grow list.

Congrats on the Ceph...any tips or tricks you read about in prep. Mine should be here on Tuesday.

The only thing I am concerned about so far, is mine are being shipped semi-bare root.

Firstly, handle it with great caution. Make sure not to snap any roots or pitchers.
Then, gently pot it in a well draining mix of your preference (link to more info below).
Using pot of 4+ inch is your best option since Cephs dislike yearly repotting.
Water via the tray method, and water carefully. Cephs are especially susceptible to root rot.

Added some new flytraps. I'm currently looking for more pings.

FINAL BIG UPDATE OF 2021: Added some new pings, dews, and a nep. Also added a sphagnum moss section.
It's been a great year and I've gained a lot of experience!
I would like to thank all the wonderful members that I've traded and chatted with for their time and thoughtful advice.
Without it, I might not be where I'm at (many of my CPs might be in the graveyard...).
The year is ending, but I'm still looking into small trades. Pings are still at the top of my want list!

Hi everyone, I'm back from my winter break! It's been very soggy here in CA... I've lost quite a few CPs over the rainy weather. The nepenthes from Cook's were terrible to me. Two out of the three neps failed to make it through the acclimation processe. Even so, the pings that I've received over the course of last year are thriving happily in the terrarium. Lastly, I updated with my growlist with my new book from Barry Rice! It's really informative, and full of colorful pictures! I highly recommend purchasing it!
