You get what you pay for. I still buy from him if I am looking for a larger number of seedlings or if a clone I want pops up on eBay but I have learned to avoid disappointment by tempering my expectations. Communication is poor indeed and he does not stand by misidentified plants, so caveat emptor.

For some perspective cook had a CP website back in 1999 and is one of the oldest in the business. Although I don't say that has much weight in terms of a products quality as it seems things change over time, but once he was one of the few online suppliers with a website. I am not defending anyone just giving some perspective.

It seems like cooks concentrates on sarrs. Ive bought nepenthes and sarrs from them. Never had an issue thru ebay or the website. Sarrs are always in awesome condition.

That capensis in the first post looks horrible. I wouldve given you one better looking thanthat lol.
