The pic shows what happens when you accidently drop too many seeds in a pot. In this case, D. Spatulata (Royal National Park, Sydney). I think that this is a particularly pretty version of Spatulata. You, of course, may that that it's all the Emperor's new clothes and that all Spats look alike. Anyhow, most of the larger plants are between dime- and nickel-sized and they obviously need to be separated. What I'm planning on doing is dividing the pot into 3 or maybe 4 parts by slicing downward and hopefully winding up with multiple chunks with both the leaves and roots mostly intact. There are way too many for me, so I'd like to give away one or two of the chunks to anyone who's willing to pay postage (~$9) and has at least 1 month membership on the forum.

I'm going to end this at 3PM EDT today. That should give me enough time to receive the winner's address and get it sent out in the morning.

And we're done. Congrats, Rammplins! Please PM me your name and mailing address and I'll get it shipped out. The chunk is already packed, so the sooner the better.

You're welcome! Not now but at some point down the line, you should consider spreading them out a bit to let the plants in the middle stretch out and help with that pot takeover.

Yeah. I wanted to separate them before I repotted, but the roots had other ideas. Fumble fingers over here surely would have done more damage than good.

P.S. that mini spoon/shovel is fantastic. :D
