Hi all! I am a fairly new CP grower (couple of months). So far I only have VFTs (but have a ping, sundew and nepenthe on the way). I have gotten really obsessed really fast and find that my second favorite CP (first being vfts) is the Cephs. I want to buy one but need to know if a beginner should even try one and what how to take care of it (if I get one) Thanks! :D

I'd probably wait just a bit to get a Cephalotus. If you can keep a flytrap alive through a growing year, or you feel very confident that you could, then you might want to try a Cephalotus. They're definitely not as challenging to grow as some people make them out to be, but they're definitely easier to kill than flytraps. But if you have $25 or so that you could spare and would like the challenge, then go ahead and get one :)

The first Ceph i got died in from powdery mildew, and a lot quicker then i expected
As Matt said, they aren't as hard a some say, but definitely not easy.
It's your choice in the end, just make sure you don't waste that $25 :D

Ok, I will probably try to wait a few months. I just think they are the coolest looking cps out there :)
