Carpenter Bees

I forgot where I bought this trap, but it has exceeded all expectations - highly recommend.

Interesting - does it kill the bees or just trap them? I guess there wouldn’t be much point in just trapping them unless you were saintly enough to periodically drive the container into the wilderness and set them free.

I understand you're trying to avoid the damage that can result from their drilling. Still a shame though. They are good pollinators and are among the few types of bees that are still actively pollinating when temps are too chilly for most other bees. (Making them valuable for early spring and late fall pollinating.)

Very humane no kill traps, bees can easily be transferred to a transport container for redistribution to the wild.

Ok, good. They are super interesting to watch though. Wish I actually had some!
