@Barberry, Wouldn't worry too hard about shipping. Most of these guys do good work and pack for contingencies. Most of the time plants show up in a few days and aren't worse for wear. Very rarely does a plant end up in a bad way. Though I will say, since my original post I purchased a Heliamphora Heterodoxa from this specific seller and it did get lost in transit for almost a month. That isn't his fault. Amazingly enough, it was still alive though very jacked up looking. Since then it's grown and it's doing ok now.

All that said, purchasing plants online is really the only real way of acquiring most plants that you end up searching for. Finding a reputable seller or a trusted user is the best way to go about it. If typical CPs don't bother you though, you can find fly traps, a couple sundews, a miranda at the garden centers.
