Carnivorous Bromeliads: RO or not?

I am just curious with this, I am not planning to get a carnivorous bromeliad right now. Does brocchinia reducta need RO water? They're bromeliads, which don't usually need RO. What about Catopsis, since it's an epiphyte? Are neps the only High PPM CP?
