Hi everyone, I just got some seeds in from the seed bank, flytraps and Sarrs. I also bought some from Ebay. I am going to try planting my VFTs today, I already have some that have sprouted as well as some Sarrs. that have already sprouted. I will post pictures soon.

I'm not seeing what you're talking about. 5th to last pic? The one labeled DSC4371? Those aren't VFT babies.

I think I see what you're talking about. It's uncommon, but not unusual to grow a third cotyledon before growing carnivorous leaves. I've even seen four cotyledons.

Just a quick observation, I've only sewn burmannii a few times however each time I have grown them from seed it took over 30 days to observe germination regardless of how fresh the seeds were, and as much as 90 days for older seed. Don't give up on your burmannii (or any seed for a few months), it still has a chance!

I completely agree with you. It has been well over a month yet my burmannii "Perlata" seeds have yet to show any green.
