Hey.
I think this is a napenthes , I’m not sure on variety etc. As it’s not my plant but as a surprise I’d like to attempt to get it back in condition.
We had an unexpected cold spell in the U.K. which it has been exposed to. Is it salvageable if so any tips on how to do so?
Thanks

Depending on what exactly the plant has been exposed to and for how long, it may be possible to recover; however, it does not look promising. Just treat the plant like normal, try to keep the soil moist but not wet, and wait to see if any new growth emerges from the stem or around the base of the plant. Also importantly don't let it get exposed to the cold weather again.

It's hard to tell from the photo but is there any green on the stem at all? Esp. around the base or just below the soil?

I think you can repot it, and grow it as an indoor plant.

I've seen badly damaged cold neps appear like that, usually due to subzero temperatures. It *could* recover but I wouldn't keep my hopes high because it looks pretty dead to me.
