ummm you can just leave them for now, can trim some of the leaves you know are completley dead just do it gently to try not to disturb the plant to much
and that water and dirt sound fine, so i think all you can do is let the plant recover, and only give it a a couple of hours of direct sunlight every day increasing the amount of hours of light as you go on,
for a like 2 weeks, then it should be adjusted
so to be clear, like, 3 hours of direct light one day, then about 3 days later give it 4 hours of direct light, and so on, untill its receiving all the light it can get
