Took a pic from one off my Pinguicula leafs. The leaf have very small granulated dots or so the pic dosnt show it so good maby..
Anyway just asking since the leaf was very smooth when I did put it there and now its not.

I think its very hard to take good shoots with the camera from explants in test tubes..

Hard to tell from the photo, but I think I can see the bumbs and they do look a bit like callus. I've actually only ever had callus form on the end of the leaf with Pings, so it's interesting to see it in the middle and upper portion.

Looks great Xeno! What was your sterilization technique for that leaf? I usually nearly kill the entire leaf when I sterilize Ping leaves.

Yes, a good sterilisation protocol for Pinguicula leaves would be great!
They're so easy to kill!

Definitely has taken. You should have plenty of plants from that.

thnx for all replys. I did use bleach on these pings but I´am gonna test little later with PAA.

Plain MS?

I did 10 to 12 seconds using PAA on a single ping leaf, and it's doing real good! Going on 2 weeks and it perfect! The leaf unfurled, is thick and healthy. It is starting to do what the B-52 leaves have done, start to curl up on itself. I have it on regular MS as that's all I had at the time. Probably should replate on Kinetin bearing media, I guess.

I haven't tried dilution with the PAA, but if You do it full strength, measure in seconds and not minutes. My explant was VERY young and probably very clean.
