Calcium Grit?

So while stopping by the store to pick up a few things, I wandered into the bird section of the pet aisle and found this. Now I'm curious if this could be used in a Mexican ping substrate. Probably not due to not knowing how the other ingredients would affect the plant but who knows? Unfortunately I don't have any extra pings to use as guinea pigs right now to test myself.

it seems to contain salt ?

cat litter, non-agglomerating and unscented seems to suit perfectly with other ingedient (river sand, etc.) I use it for a long time on all my ping calcicoles without any problem

I use crushed coral substrate in my mix for calcium and other trace minerals, has worked well so far...
