I agree with Ambanja; FTS Tall Giant is not awesome enough for this huge guy (FTS Loch Ness Monster?, nah... , FTS Titanosaurus?....apparently this was a real dinosaur...). It caught my eye in the greenhouse and I couldn't believe how big it was! Anyway, here are a few of my pics, not as good as Matt's but I was trying to capture the cilia- it's pretty amazingly looooong.

I like "Everest" or "Olympus" since it seems to go along with "Etna," "Kilauea" and "Vesuvius". Whatever you wind up calling it, I want one! Leah, it looks like you're doing a commercial for Maybelline mascara or false eyelashes!

Whatever you decide, it's quite an impressive VFT! What about: "sky high" or "skyscraper" or "high tower"... Not vicious enough maybe. Ha! Vicious tower! Hehe.

Man, that's a nice looking plant. For some reason I kind of like the sound of "FTS Procerus", which is Latin for tall or long. Other than that, I agree with the others, Olympus is pretty awesome sounding.
