Byblis Seed Bleaching Question

by dantt99 » Fri Apr 22, 2011 12:44 am

Hello everybody! I just have a quick question about Bleaching the Byblis seeds I just received from HarrisAz.
I know you need to bleach the seeds until they turn white, and then rinse them before sowing them. I have bleach, but it's scented and I'm not sure if that's acceptable or not for this species.
Here's what the bottle looks like....

Thanks!

i use clorox and its ok for me.

Correction:
Bleach it until the seeds turn greyish and not white.

just mix 5ml of bleach with 100ml of water to be safe. You need to watch the seed every minute there too!!

Good luck!
Harris
Thanks,
