hello guys, I wanted to introduce you to my hybrid between Burmannii red and Burmannii Hong Kong, I would like to know if anyone had done it before, I hope you like it :P

thanks guys, the seeds have already been planted on 08/17, i am waiting to sprout and see if they will be viable and if they keep the same characteristics of the plant, if yes, i intend to donate the seeds or maybe make an exchange, if they sprout i will post photos of the development , thank you guys :)

Amazing looking hybrid and very healthy looking! Burmannii for some reason gives me a lot of trouble. I have 2 adult ones that flowered, puttered along, regrew, died back, and are regrowing again. It's strange because the rest of my drosera are fine. Have a couple seedlings that stagnated and just now started making moves as well. Only 1 seed germinated from each pot after about 3 months :lol:. Something about the challenge makes me want to cultivate it a lot more than most of my drosera now.

I'd love some seeds of this plant myself if you get a bunch and they're viable.

I managed to make a hybrid in reverse too, this time I pollinated a Burmannii red with pollen from Burmannii Hong kong, and the result was the one below, however it seems to me a Burmannii red with a faded color haha :lol:

I use artificial lighting, but that day I used the sunlight to show the colors of this hybrid :P
