I was taking a look at my sarracenia... And spotted this:

Sorry for the poor quality, the picture was taken from my phone... firstly, the bug is brown with black stripes if I am correct, and the white portion on the sarracenia is actually brown with a tiny portion of white
Please help to identify the problem! Thanks in advance

Is that a Carpet beetle? Is your plant indoors?

Yes, it is grown indoors.
I'm not sure if it is a carpet beetle, haven't seen one in my house yet

Sure looks like one. Try googling Carpet beetle and you should be able to determine if that's what you're dealing with. Good luck.

Mealy bug without its typical cottony covering, Crush all the ones you can find on the plant, then touch the spots where the bugs were crushed with a q-tip with alcohol on it to kill any eggs or small offspring. (dont know if the alcohol is safe with those kinds of plants though.) Watch closely for a few weeks to make sure any small ones that show up get dealt with. Some mealy can infect the soil, so watch for this and repot in fresh media if needed. Check all other plants...they can spead easily and quickly.,
