Hello there
As long as the plant is in the proper conditions (enough light, water, proper media ect) then I wouldn't worry about it. It's most likely just a fluke in growth. It happens from time to time. Your plant looks healthy so it should be fine. I would only start to be concerned if this progresses.

Isn’t that mold damage?

I wouldn't think so. That seems to be the only part turning brown so I wouldn't worry about it unless it gets worse and spreads to other parts of the plant.

I sprinkled some fungicide just in case. Don’t want it to spread

As others mentioned, this sort of thing happens from time to time. It happens more frequently when growing plants indoors or in tropical climates with very high humidity levels.

Where are you growing yours?

In Russia. My humidity levels now are around 30-50%

By "where are you growing?" I more meant the environment, not where on Earth. That plant looks to be pretty far along for this early in spring, so I assume it is not outside? If that is the case, and it is growing indoors, that would likely be the answer to your original question "what is going on?"

Flytraps do not make good indoor plants. Growing them indoors, either in a windowsill or under artificial lighting, can work in the short term but almost always ends with the plant getting ill and either dying or being moved outdoors.

What do you mean by far along spring? My plant in our weather wont have a chance to survive out. I will try to sacrifice some plants to see next winter if they will grow out and survive -25C

Matt means that it has started growing early in the season. I highly doubt flytraps could survive outside in -25C without being very heavily mulched.

Our plants are just now barely coming out of dormancy. Your flytrap appears to be at least 6 weeks "ahead" of our plants in terms of growth. That's what I mean by "far along." So I assumed that means you aren't growing it in natural conditions. If growing flytraps indoors, there is always the chance that the sort of problems you are showing in your photos will arise.

That's probably true, but I've seen people post in years past about growing flytraps outdoors year-round in Canada where temperatures get very cold. They were planted in a bog garden at ground level and then mulched over the winter. They survived year after year in those growing conditions.

idwaneo - where in Russia are you located? Can you show the current weather forecast? A windowsill will work in the short term, and giving natural sunlight is always better than artificial lighting, but it is best to get it outside if at all possible. On days when it is above freezing, the plant can be moved outside in to full sun.

That could be but since I live in 8th floor of a building I don’t think that’s possible, only I got is an open balcony with a big pot. Now weather is around -5C nights and 12C during the day. But my flytraps from leaf cuttings are just 4 months old, dont know if they will handle that weather if I just move them right away outdoors

Oh, that's plenty warm to get the plant outdoors and in full sun, if at all possible! That is similar temperatures to what we are having here in southern Oregon recently.

They will do much better outdoors. I'd just suggest bringing them in as the sun goes down or before it frosts or freezes at night. Otherwise, get them out there on the balcony with the full sun on them!

Now it became black, but seems the next 2 leaves have no signs of blackening
