I was finally able to do my first bog and what an experience that was. Seeing these plants at their best in the hundreds is really something everyone should experience at least once.
Started at a site with some Leucos and Flytraps. It hasn't had a good burn recently so the plants weren't looking to great. I'll begin with saying that this site was littered with these unnecessarily large spiders.
Pretty much every plant was living off a giant mound of red spag.
Next was a small Rosea site. I was told these guys get mowed frequently and sure enough 90% of them were lopped in half.
For the last site I hit the famous Red Tube site! Words can't describe this place, the sea of red once you get deep enough is just jaw dropping. With something near 150 pictures taken at this one site if the rain held back I'd probably have that number even higher.
Here was one of my favorites, the hood shape was really appealing.
A no-lid.
Another oddball.
