Black spots on leaves...

Hi, I moved my VFT from the city to the village and left it outside, one week later I saw that some leaves had black spots like they where dying. I live in Greece and the sun can be very harsh on midday should I still have the VFT outside in the sun? Are these black spots cause by the sun (sunburn)? And my last question, is it good to put the VFT in the greenhouse that I have or is it better to be outside?
Thanks

The black spots are almost certainly sunburn. Any plant that's moved from shadier conditions or somewhere that it's not getting direct sunlight to a place where the sun is stronger, will burn without gradual introduction to it.

If you have a greenhouse, the plant will almost certainly be happier inside of it.

This thread has taught me a lesson :) My sarracenia plants have suddenly got black spots on them after being moved out, the new ones havent so that explains it.

Matt, if the pitcher has had such a large ammount of sun before and then put back inside for a week, will it tolerate the heat with memory?

Heat really isn't the issue with sun burn. It's the UV rays. I've noticed that if plants are hardened off to the UV rays then brought inside for a little while but don't put out any new growth, the growth that's hardened off to the UVs does fine when put back outside. But if you leave them inside for an extended period of time and they put out new growth while indoors, that new growth will burn when they're moved back outside.

Ok, thanks Matt. Im looking to get a 14.5x6.5ft poly tunnel thats 2m high. That should last for ages, and protect the plants from any sunburn.

Just one thing ive noticed today, pitchers have amazed me by how much the can catch. Whenever I walk past one I hear the buzzing of a wasp!

Nice, that should work well for you!

Yep, Sarracenia can eat a ton of wasps and hornets in the summer :)
