The pictures before were bad. But thw growth is spreading to other, newer, baby traps. I'm not sure what the issue is.

That's not a 'growth', it's part of the leaf blackening. The trap seems a bit warped, it's probably old.

It also looks like you have a flower stalk-did you cut it? It tends to weaken plants that aren't in full health.
