So I separated the basal shoots about a month ago and they seem to be dying? Humidity levels are about 55-70% and temp is 22-24C 10-12hrs of full spectrum lights, any suggestions? Thanks

Short answer: Put them in a clear plastic bag for a few weeks.

Here is the why:
If the basals didn't have roots, they can't take in water in the normal way, they also expire water naturally through their leafs. This means they have a negative water absorption rate and will dehydrate and die.
I have had success with placing the rootless cuttings into an upside down ziplock bag to maintain humidity at 95-100%. This also means no direct sunlight or being close to really strong artificial light. They may take a month or so to get a root system started.
Once you decide to remove the bag you will want to do it slowly so that they acclimate to the lower humidity of the air in within the environment you plan to keep them. Take your time on this part. The time taken to acclimate the plant to the surroundings is also time that the root system is going to take to continue growing.

There is a chance it can be saved. Make sure the media is always moist. I would water it 2 times a day and let the excess drain out every day.

I agree with sanguinearocks101 - there's a chance. I hope it wasn't an expensive species.
