They look great! If there's some way you can keep them reasonably cool (they don't have to be cold) and still get light during dormancy, they'll make and store a lot of food for a great start when they break dormancy in the Spring. You might consider adding your location to your profile or to your "signature," so people can guess what your climate might be like. :)

Nice B52's, they look really healthy and great. :)

Please tell me you haven't put them in the refrigerator yet?
Unfortunately if you did already, take them out immediately, you have to acclimate your plants step by step, if they were growing in hot conditions and you decided to put them in the fridge i'm afraid they will suffer from shock and might die by the harsh change in temperature.
They even might not go dormant, vft's don't go dormant in a change of temperature from 90F-34F in a day, that will kill them. Instead, they need the right signal to go to sleep, then they go into their deep dormarcy. In order to send them the right signal, take them out of the fridge and put them back in the conditions they were, simply with a combination of factors start reducing the amount of light, watering, and temperature. Once few of the traps have darken, and the plant start making the short winter leaves that's when they can be put in their deep dormarcy.
I think this would be the best way to go, lets hear other comments from the experts. :)

Good luck, and I can tell these plants have been growing under lights?

One other thing, your location like steve said is very important so that we can help you better to understand your climate, perhaps there's no need to put them in the fridge?

This was their second growing season and will be the second time in the fridge. When I bought them from David Conner they were tiny. They have grown like weeds each year. I'm sure the fridge isn't the best method but it's not that bad. I have tried other ways and have lost every plant.

Hey Pete .... Those B52's are gorgeous ! Would you mind sharing with us how they got this beautiful color ? Do you grow them outside or under artificial light ? How often and what do you feed them ?

Pete ... Your plants are so gorgeous that I just placed an order for 3 medium B52's from Conner's Carnivores.

Thanks for the complements!
I grow them under lights. I use CFLs, 4 bulbs about 160 total watts, 16 hours a day. The lights are about 12 inches above the plants. I don't feed them much, but they do catch an occasinal fly.

I've learned that's just about the best recipe to get the amazing color shown in your photos: Lots of good fluorescent light without much feeding.

This seems to support that the best VFTs are grown indoors...
