I recently bought a new nepenthes but the vine was accidentally cut about 2 inches from the tip, I was wondering if there are any affects on the plant such as health and growth. Is the vine going to grow back. Also I included two pictures of the plant before and after. Thank you!

Nah, that plant grows pretty well in any condition. The leaf will open and hopefully the stem will just keep coming from wear it is now. I have one of those and it took less than a week to start inflating it’s pitchers and become a stable grower. Wish you luck with that plant but you should be fine. Good growing.

Also, try to root the tip that was cut off, if you still have it and it is big enough. The mother plant should start sending out a new shoot or two.
