But then you would have a ventrata!! It's like comparing a Ferrari to a Yugo. Lol. A couple of months back some very large lowii sold for $1,000 and $1,200.

Ventrata is a super hardy grower and can look pretty good. I'm just exaggerating a bit for humor.

Lol no problem for the hijack. Nepenthes vary widely in price, the common TC'ed species and hybrids can be had for under $30 but rare, seed grown species and hybrids can be far more expensive. The plants I have listed obviously fall into the latter category.


Nepenthes are definitely not for those on a tight budget

Yea I HAD two ventricosas but they died due to lack of knowledge and a hybrid a lantern gentle

In my opinion I dont know that much about nepenthe's and aparentlly there rare or something which makes them more in value I don't know
