Flytrap just looks like a 'pom pom' but with a different name. Genetic rubbish good only for the compost heap in my humble and, to some, controversial opinion.

There was a guy selling on Ebay a few years back that thought his plants were crapped out by the goose that lays golden eggs.
He had good marketing skills, convincing people to buy with tags of "VERY Rare", "Last One", "Never offered before, maybe never again!", etc., charging multiple thousands of dollars for many Nepenthes.
He was able to do this for about a year before word got spread that although his plants were nice, you could get them for one tenth of his price elsewhere. His after the sale care was nonexistent, often blocking the buyers then bad mouthing them on social media. His plants were often mislabeled, and he often used the same picture for multiple different species listings, each with a different price, each labeled "exact plant pictured". At one point he had an (alleged) true, pure N. edwardsiana listed for $10,000. It never sold, and he was eventually driven out of the carnivorous plant market.
He still sells exotic plants from his online platform, but not many people trust him anymore, so he doesn't make much profit. He became so disliked that he quietly moved to New Orleans, stays low on the radar, and is driving for a food delivery company because nobody trusts him. The background checks that many companies do will bring up his shady past, and they take a hard pass on him.
