:) awsome picture taking not to mention a nice looking cupped trap. what medium did you use for the background, digital or traditional (like a black curtain) ?

I used a soft cube and a black back ground the camera was set to aperture priority ISO 80 F/8 which gave a 1 second exposure I pointed my lights at the ceiling because they where too bright.
This is a picture of the set-up I put the plant pot in the white saucer.

I see it, but it's really blurry that way. And I'm guessing it's not too good for my eyes.

that's really cool! Nice plants also, looks healthy. :) And that's a great camera set up thingy, I always wondered how people got that perfect black for their background. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the nice comments on the Cupped Trap. Craig borrowed my plant for his pics.

Thats a really nice picture and plant. The layers are really nice, looks like a REAL 3D, not just like the plant floating in front of the background. If you know what I mean.

Nice image! I'm hoping to get a camera that will do a focus stack. Then I can generate an all in focus 3D image :D

Does that mean it will do it out of the box? (ie, I don't have to upload an alternate firmware for it?)

You will need to use SDM firmware but it is very easy to load on the camera.
