This little burmannii sprouted in one of my empty pots (it was a batch of seed that was in there for about a year) about 3 weeks ago.

I noticed and fed it about 3 fish pebbles over the past few weeks, and it now has a flower stalk. This surprised me as it is TINY. I previously thought the minimum flowering age was 2 months or so.

They'll flower for a number of reasons, impending death and an abundance of life are the main ones. Age is a factor, but not a huge one.
Make sure to keep it fed, and you might get some seeds from it to donate to the seed bank (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Just watch the seeds before you get burm everywhere. I am ruthless with stalks in my collection, both times I have let plants seed it got everywhere lol
