I cut 15 different flytrap cultivars and planted them in a pot. I l know there are way to many in this pot but i curious to see what happens. I made myself a key so i know what flowerstalks are which cultivar :D

Welp that did not last long. idk if i can keep growing these plant. every day i come home to a massacre of pot toppled over, plants up routed hang out of the pots, Its really starting to piss me off. Now i have no idea what flower stalks are what so im just going to give up on that. Does anyone have any bird Deterrent Ideas.

Build a simple "box" with whatever scrap wood you have available or purchase some inexpensive wood (and screws and power screw driver). Cover it with screen or chicken wire using a staple gun. It's a really simple solution, but very effective. The entire project will take less than 30 minutes.

Instead of screening, you could also use the mesh in which produce is sold. Especially as one moves into spring, birds are a real nusciance. Once more bugs and greenery is available, I find they will usually leave sprouting plants alone.
