HELLO!!!!!!! im new to this site and i just got a new flytrap. i've never had one before and could use all the help i can get so if any one has any helpful tips PLEASE TELL ME

    They need distilled water, NOT tap and NO FERTILIZER!! I repotted mine with sphagnum and perlite 1-1, and its doing great for the most part. Came out of hibernation and was looking amazing, until the flowers started developing!! Read an article that said you should get rid of them right away, but didn't elaborate...I LOVE flowers and wanted to see what they looked like. Since my research only uncovered one site that said this, I decided to satisfy my curiosity and allowed them to develop...until after a few weeks when I started noticing that all my traps were closed...then they started dying and now I only have one trap left...and it's been closed the whole time. So, now I'm wondering what to do next!!
