Dionaea 'Fused Tooth'

Background: Dionaea musicpula 'Fused Tooth' is another genetic anomaly derived from tissue culture. Isolated by Thomas Carow in Germany who is also responsible for isolating Dionaea 'Sawtooth' and Dionaea 'Wacky Traps', 'Fused Tooth' venus fly traps will produce traps with limited "webbed" teeth in the spring, but by late summer, the traps teeth are usually heavily "fused." 'Fused Tooth' was in limited distribution in 1995, along with Dionaea 'Sawtooth', but the precise date that this plant was discovered is unknown. It was definitely prior to the late-1980's because Henning Von Schmeling of the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, Georgia had already received two plants then.

Hello Andres and thanks for the compliment on the website.

Unfortunately, it's not legal to ship plants overseas without a lot of paperwork. I've never done it, but I believe that it's pretty expensive.
