NOTICE

PLANTS AND DORMANCY

If you order a plant during its dormancy, roughly October-March for temperate (nontropical) plants, it may look relatively small and not its best. This is normal, and the plant should be kept in cool and drier conditions until it breaks dormancy in Spring and begins to grow vigorously again.

You may instead receive a plant during this time that has been recently transplanted from tissue culture, in which case it will not be dormant; this actively growing plant may be kept warm, moist and sunny, and will enter dormancy the following Fall. You may register a preference for a tissue-culture transplant instead of a dormant plant by sending email to sales@flytrapcare.com, but we can accommodate such requests only when the plants are available.
