Happy little dude!My plant arrived a day earlier than expected, and I couldn't be happier! He was very well packaged in a box full of newspapers and absolutely /swaddled/ in plastic wrap. Getting him out of his mini plastic terrarium was a bit stressful, but an exacto blade and a bit of patience got the job done - and my goodness, he is /gorgeous/! I've named him Seymour, and he looks vibrant, open, and happy as can be. Matt and Leah warned that some traps might be blackened, but all of his traps are plenty healthy, with lots of little ones growing in to boot. His soil was already nice and damp, so I knew he wouldn't need watering for a bit - though, I have already given him a bug for good measure. He's my first flytrap (and first carnivorous plant in general), and I'm very much looking forwards to growing him up big and strong! Good growing indeed! <3

Excellent as usual!Thanks for the awesome VFT “classic” mature plant. It is big, healthy and beautiful. If anyone out there is waffling because this is not a named cultivar, buy one…it is an absolutely gorgeous VFT!

Great Healthy Plant!!My Gilligan. Great plant, does not ask for much except a drink every now and then. He catches enough flys and gnats to provide for his self easily. For $9.95 he was a bargain!!

Came 2 Days Earlier Than Expected!Great big venus fly trap, and I only ordered a young plant! Very healthy with lots of new growth. The spaghnum potting looks very good, moisture doesn’t leave it that fast.

Awesome Experience!I requested for the plant to be potted in peat/perlite instead of sphagnum moss and my request was honored. Great customer service, awesome selection, and the plant arrived well packaged and healthy despite being right at the end of dormancy. I'm already planning my next order!
