I'd like to hang some tillandsia off the edge of an aquarium/terrarium, and it seems to me that the best way to do that would be to make little wire hangers where the tillandsia sits in a loose wire loop. I'm just not sure if there's a wire that would be safe to do that with, i.e. something that won't rust or leach anything, especially since they'll be hanging over some carnivorous plants that would probably not appreciate rusty water dripping on them when I mist everything.

You could probably just use floral wire. I used it to hold bromeliads to the background in my vivarium and they never rusted over, in fact I think they're still there :D
Or use "Bonsai Wire" too, you can get it in different thicknesses. :)
