Hello,
So i have 2 venus flytrap plants atm, which are growing very good.
Now, i bought a pitcher plant, but i wonder, do i give the same care to a pitcher plant as to a Venus flytrap?
Just some water in the bowl, so it can drink when it wants? and lots of sunshine?

Greetings.

I treat mine the same as my fly traps and they seem to love it so distilled water and lots of sunlight and it'll be fine

Yeah just try to keep it wet like a bog, not flooded though, that's what I do and it works great!

I read where depending on where you live you may need to add a little water to the pitchers occasionally, if it is hot Sarracenia Puprurea need liquid to help them digest their food and new pitchers benefit from a little water in them as they have not developed juices yet, if it is cool check them periodically for liquid, about and eighth full, when they get bigger they may need a little more.
