So I found this little beauty, and couldn't resist.

Just thought I'd share my new find.

Yesterday I was out shopping in the local market and came across a solitary, weary looking little fly trap. This picture was taken a few hours after I got it home and stood it in a tray of rain water which it quickly absorbed. I refilled the tray around 8 times before any remained in the bottom, and it seemed a bit more perked up. I've re-potted it into a larger pot and it seems a little bit happier already. I'm looking forward to seeing how this little one progresses!

It's the first one I've seen for sale around my area, too. So I was quite surprised to come across it on the market.

So glad you could save it! It must have been totally parched if it soaked up that much water, so you probably rescued it just in the nick of time! It looks pretty health with all those traps and so much red coloration. I always have to be careful whenever I look at the CP's at my local Lowe's store because I always wind up spending way too much money on sickly little plants that I feel sorry for and want to try to save!

Thanks everyone, it looks way better now it's in a bigger pot.

Ambkosh8465, I know! I'm happy I could buy it and take it home to try and help it, but I'm also glad they're not a common find in stores around here so there shouldn't be too many for me to rescue haha.

Thank you! It seems to have grown a bit now, and there's lots of new baby traps appearing. It's settled in nicely to my little jungle of a bedroom haha.

Those logos do look very similar!
