i tried this.
you can feed betta food pelets to:
  • Venuus fly trap
  • nepenths
  • Purple pitchers
  • sundew caspensis
these pellets made my caspensis, purple pitcher, and flytrap grow vigorously.
still waiting for nep result

i fed the caspensis 1 pellet, and moved it around simulating a sticked bug. this will make the sundew curl over the pelet (just one)
vtf i fed like 3 pelets with tweezers
purple pitcher i fed 5 pelets in one picher
my Nep is small so i gave it 1 pelet

Yes, betta fish food pellets do work well for quite a few carnivorous plants as a live insect substitute. For Venus Flytraps, it is usually necessary to massage the closed trap several times after it has closed on the pellet, in the absence of live-insect movement inside the trap, to stimulate the trigger hairs and encourage the trap to close tightly and begin to exude digestive fluid.

Another carnivorous plant that can be fed betta pellets is Cephalotus follicularis.
