N. Bicalcarata

Hi, im just thinking about getting a N. Bicalcarata Orange, but i've been looking fore some pictures and i see the pitchers get different shapes like this in the pictures. some are round like the ampullaria and others are like a cone, i like the conic one...does all Bicalcaratas get conic shaped pitchers or not always it happens.

The round pitchers are the lower pitchers the plant produces. The more conical ones are the upper pitchers that are produced when the plant forms its climbing stem.

Yes, young plant and basal shoot start with round pitcher. For bical, will transition to cone shape after a few years.

The first pic is an upper pitcher and the second pic is a lower pitcher.
