I have zero experience with tropical pitcher plants, but I can handle some other carnivores. I would love to plant several Nepenthes pitcher plants and hang them onto the peach tree. When peaches start ripening, they attract all kinds of insects, including wasps, flies, fruit flies,...

That way, I would not only grow carnivores, I'd also give them a job.
I've been thinking highland pitchers that are not so picky about their growing conditions, traps should be large enough to "accommodate" wasps, possibly quite a lot of them.

Sadly, I can't afford rare expensive plant, so I'd go for the cheapest possible, the most hungry and easy to handle. For now at least. :)

PS: central Europe climate, Mediterranean meets continental climate combination - I'd overwinter them inside with my other plants. The more the merrier.

Lady luck is a pretty slow grower and doesnt produce very large pitchers in my experience. Sanguinea is cheap and quickly grows large pitchers. I'd recommend that. Mine went from one inch to 8" pitchers in a year.

Yeah I seem to be the only one who can't grow lady luck as a house plant haha. It just shrivels up more and more each day.
