Tri-phosphor tubes vs Multi-phosphor tubes ?

Postby roarke » Sun Aug 07, 2011 5:55 pm

I read on the internet that the difference is only quality, energy efficiency, price and other things. They both have 6500k. Other reasons one should by one or the other ?

Tri means it uses 3 colours of the spectrum so am guess Multi uses more of the spectrum

I would go for the Tri at 6500k because you dont need any red (which is used in flowering plants)

Here is a good read for you hope it helps http://www.commercial-lamps.co.uk/p/res ... t-lighting
