Beautiful! Excellent looking plant too!

What a great addition to any plant collection, do you grow a lot of miniatures Steve?

Thanks for the compliment. Most of the greenhouse is dedicated to Venus Flytraps and a few other carnivorous plants, but I do have a few orchids too, including several Phalaenopsis, cattleya-laelia intergeneric hybrids, about 12 little Tolumnias and 3 Pahphiopedilum hybrids that haven't bloomed yet.

I chose Tolumnia because they are small plants that don't take up much space, and space in the greenhouse is always a consideration. That's why I don't grow Nepenthes even though I think they are beautiful and fascinating: they just would take up too much space.

I am liking the little Heliamphoras I recently got though, but I plan to avoid the very large species like H. glabra, ionassi and tatei.

Anyway, thanks again for your nice comment and question.

Sounds very similar to my situation.
My greenhouse consists of the basement i have taken over... I'm sure my better half will be happy when we do get a greenhouse :)
For now i too grow a handful of orchids and CPs but can't do nepenthes because of size.
I hope to explore the positive side of TCing CPs very soon. I have tried but without success.

I'll be posting a few of the blooms soon, maybe in the future we can trade plants to even out stock?

Hope all is good to grow! :geek:

Join TCing club!!! Germinating orchid seeds in vitro is not quite hard. IMO, it's easy than growing VFT plants. Please post pictures of orchid flowers.
