I love those indica complex Drosera. How do you grow yours? I hear they are little like petiolaris sundews in their growth conditions.

Watering requirements may differ depending on where your seed is sourced from, but generally you need at least half the media to be sand. The indica complex likes to be kept much less wet than other Drosera, and with some plants you should even let the media almost dry out before watering again. Feeding is absolutely necessary as soon as the plants are large enough - these plants are very quick-growing annuals and need lots of prey to match their high metabolism. Anyone who has a sunny window who can keep most subtropical Drosera healthy should be able to grow indica complex plants easily.

Unfortunately, I don't really have the space to grow this complex, but they are definitely something I will look into in the future.Benurmanii wrote:Not particularly, heat and humidity don't matter nearly as much to them - you want to keep them warm (above 60F) of course, but they're far more tolerant of household temperatures than petiolaris complex 'dews.
