Lol it is awesome! I’ve only heard of miss pimbeche once, do you have one, Matt?

Yeah, it is one of my most recent acquisitions. I think I have it in tissue culture now, as of this spring, so hopefully I will have some to offer others in the US in a year or so.

Schuppenstiel is a great plant! I love how long the teeth are -- on par with the longest of them including Phalanx and Miss Pimbeche. And the scaling of the leaves just makes it uber cool!

Schuppenstiel is such a great plant! I absolutely love it -- one of my favorites.

I just trimmed back the dead leaves on my entire personal collection of flytraps and also noted that Trictherfalle x Coquillage looks much like Schuppenstiel most of the year, but colors up better and has longer spines that rival those of Phalanx and other long-toothed clones. If you don't have Trictherfalle x Coquillage, you should definitely check it out if you enjoy Schuppenstiel!

Mine was a little starter plant I acquired at the tail end of the growing season. It's actually grown quite a bit; I hope it'll get some serious size in the spring/summer. Even so, this one has already become one of my favorites.
