Pretty cool plant. Technically a type of spikemoss, very good at not dying even when it dries out badly due to being native to deserts. Most photos taken about 45 minutes apart, last one is after being taken out of the water and left overnight. It doesn't seem to be unfurling any more as of now, I'm guessing the air might not quite be humid enough.
I'm going to keep it on top of some damp sphagnum, but for now it's just in a saucer.

Wow where did you find that? I don't think I've ever actually seen a picture of a live one before. Pretty much every supplier only sells dead ones that rot pretty quick when rehydrated.

I got it on Ebay, actually. Hoping it does well. I've seen some photos of ones that have been growing for awhile, and they're beautifully lush.

Trying to decide if I want to keep it on a few patches of Hygrolon or on a sphagnum/perlite mix. I know they put down shallow roots, if any, and they like to be on a gently damp substrate that dries out now and then.
