Might just be the angle but that Capensis stalk looks like a double flower. :D Nice!

The capensis does indeed have a double flower:

I like the veining in this sarracenia:

This unkown drosera is still hanging on...

My nep, looking good:

Another pitcher on the same plant, bigger and darker due to it being exposed to more sun:

My first Sarracenia, Cenia:

As soon as my P. planifolia and S. leuco x alata x wherryii Citronelli begin to show growth, I'll be posting pics.

I was looking at the pitchers from the dormant kit and noticed 'dew' or humidity forming droplets around the opening:
This is from the one that opened most recently:
S3.17.14c.jpg
S3.17.14c.jpg (16.84 KiB) Viewed 10543 times
This is the first that opened, it's kind of difficult to see but there is 'dew' on the back of the 'throat':
S3.17.14d.jpg
S3.17.14d.jpg (23.4 KiB) Viewed 10543 times
Is that humidity that the plant is catching? Or is it 'dew' that the plant forms? Either way they look great! :)

Your plant is a rubra or rubra hyrbrid. The "dew" is nectar the leaf secretes to lure bugs into their trap

Ah, thank you, GK! So no need to fill the pitchers with water, right?

Thank you, Dionae!

I took these pics a couple days ago. The bug looks kinda cool, it's got tiger coloring or leopard coloring.

This unknown drosera is finally starting to show its 'claws'.

Some pics of my unknown sundew from lowes.

Here it is at the end of February:

Here it is a couple days ago, different angle. Hopefully I'll be able to get a bit of an ID on this plant.

I have it under lights right now, 15.5 on/8.5 off, thoroughly water and wait for the soil to be dang near bone dry before watering again(distilled water).

A little bit of a 'sarracenia jungle':

I noticed that the hoods on my purps are different:
Here is Cenia, the bottom of the hoods fold in:

A nursery purchase, the middle of the hood folds in:
4.17.14.jpg

Does this mean they are different hybrids or whatever? Will the flowers help, cuz I'm still waiting for the flower stalks to pop up.

I noticed some weird growth on a capensis I've got with a purp:

I wish I get a better angle, but it looks like a division, right? Are drosera capensis known to divide?

It's producing another growing point. I say keep it on and get better foliage I don't think you can divide them though. If you want to propagate sundews put the leaves in pure water under a grow light or at a windowsill. You'll get tons of sprouts in about a month. It works best with binata. Nice capensis!

Thanks, Charlie! I was looking for roots to see if I could separate it, but nothing. I'm gonna keep it where it is and let nature take its course.
