For me and my family, I'd recommend Canon, or if you really want to be fancy and rich like here, go get a Sony Camera.. it looks so professional!!! Ermm... Ah Hem... anyways.. again this is only my opinion.

I'm not goint to say what brand 'cause it really doesn't matter. You can't really just call out a brand you think is good, you have to say what number or name it is too, if you're going to recommend something. And, I don't even know what the name of my camera is, LOL! Yeah that was random, but my point was, it doesn't really help if you just call out a name of some electronic brand mumbo jumbo.
