VFT root cutting!

well my VFT was acting sick so i decide to take it roots and am going to put them in water should i? what the easiest way to strike a root cutting?

Not very many people can get a strike on a root cutting. I think that leaf pullings would if been the best thing to try.

pull a leaf and put some rooting hormone at the tip of the leaf.it will root faster and that means can make ur vft grow faster(from the leaf)

I've done pullings with and without rooting hormone and I've found no difference in the speed with which they root.

owh.just saw it on Utube a guy said using rooting hormone makes it root faster.

Right, I watched the same video and that's why I used the rooting hormone. But it doesn't seem to make any difference.

You'll find out that there's a lot of misinformation on the web about Venus fly traps.
