I bought this orchid sometime in October. Since getting it and putting it under fluorescent lights, it's grown a lot and recently sent up a flower stalk! Yesterday the first flower opened and the second one opened today. I think that they're gorgeous.

It is gorgeous, and it looks like it might be a yellow (highly prized and a little hard to grow in my own experience) crossed with a candystripe Phal. Really beautiful. My Phalaenopsis are in bloom right now too. Great plants to have in winter for their beautiful flowers.

Great work Matt! I just can't keep these things alive, let alone get them to flower.
