Hello!
I decided to try my luck again with U. Sandersonii and U. Welwitschii. I received them two days ago and my goal is to not let them rot this time (see previous attempt). ;)

I think they could be a little wetter. All my Utric ate wet wet and are flowering and doing very well. fore are in glass jars and the other I tried the tray method. All are doing very well.

Good luck with your new plants. They look like they came in vary nice.

Learned something new due to your post. I thought utricularia grew only in water. I wonder how they don't suck soil into their traps.

Good looking plants you've got, good luck with them!

Hello guys,
I am a little afraid that they will rot if I give them more water because it is 2:1 peat - perlite mix.
If stolons look and feel mushy is this a sign of rotting?

I have them inside, under cfl light located at 20cm above them. I am planning to remove the bag as they grow and I will acclimate them.
I think that as long as I keep the bag it is ok for the soil to be less wet? Or doesn't matter?

Hello YaronR, very useful info. I have similar humidity levels with yours (about 48-55%), so hopefully it shouldn't have a problem adapting. I will start removing the bag a little every day, until I throw it away.

My Sandersonii's are always in water up to the rim. I let the water maybe go half way down before refilling.

Well, as all of you guys suggested, I started to keep the soil wetter.
I will post new pictures in a few days for comparison. ;)
