My D. madagascariensis is over 5 inches tall. It's grown between 3 or 4 inches in about one year.
I have it tied off to a support to keep it upright.
It grows as a sub-tropical but seems to like it it a bit warmer than my other sub-tropicals.
It flowers and self pollinates but is a little stingy in producing seed, not real prolific.
I have a few seedlings coming up, will be doing a giveaway in the near future if there is any interest in this species.

You're certainly right about stingy lol. Maybe 20-30 seeds per pod on mine. I have several packs headed your way for the seedbank though

Beautiful plant Mike. Every time I go looking for it it's sold out.

Great looking sundew, Mike! I love that I'd has a spatula feel to it but has upright growth! Almost like a spatula and a cape had a baby.

Great plants and hard to find. I will have one of these someday, it's my mission!

I think part of the issue is just nobody bothers taking leaf cuttings of it. It's quite an easy plant, but one of those you don't really want to cut up, so I believe that may contribute to its rarity.
