I know, I know, you can buy them online everywhere. However, I have never owned a heli before and I now have a terrarium that has perfect conditions for them, the only issue is I cant seem to find any under $40. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a plant I've never owned and I might kill. Do any of you know where to buy cheap Heliamphora? Thanks a bunch in advance.

Cheap and Heliamphora are never used in the same sentence.
You might be able to make a trade if you have something interesting to offer. Sometimes small ones are offered here by a member that has a great reputation for beautiful plants. Just keep looking that's how I find plants on my wish list and sometimes you have to spend some $ to get what you want. good luck

If it's your first heliamphora I'd recommend getting a heterodoxa x minor they are vigorous growers ( for a heli ) with beautiful coloration and large nectar spoons
You won't regret it even if the price is a bit more than your use to spending on plants.

Asking for Heli's on this forum in the sales section usually helps. Another hobbyist may be able to get you small divisions at a cheap price. The nurseries/online stores usually are 2x-3x more expensive. I only have 1 Heli that I actually ordered from a nursery.
